Tasting Notes

This Field blend offers a perfumed bouquet of dark fruit, including blackberry, blueberry, and black cherry, along with notes of earthy forest floor and subtle hints of spice. On the palate, this wine is medium-bodied with a smooth and silky texture. The flavors are layered and complex, with a core of dark fruit and nuances of cocoa nib and coffee. The tannins are firm and well-structured, providing balance and depth to the wine. The result is a wine that is both complex and approachable, with layers of flavor that evolve as the wine opens up.

Vintage Notes

Primarily from a 100 year old field blend vineyard - Bisordi Vineyard - consisting of Zinfandel, Carignane, and Alicante Bouschet. Located just off of Russian River Road, the vineyard was planted and farmed by the multi-generational Bisordi family.
